‘From strategic issue to involved implementation’
No long discussions, complex meetings and moths of deliberation. No consultants
and everlasting training sessions. NBDA and its Masterclass Method is there
for organisations, wishing to translate complex strategic issues into hands-on
plans in an effective and efficient way. Leading to successful implementation.
Together with those involved within the organisation as well as a external, well
experienced Master. Without chitchat and focused at direct results and
cooperation.
The concept of the method originates from the world of music. An individual
participant prepares for a particular Music-piece, which is performed during the
Masterclass session. The master and the other participants judge the
performance: the so called reversed learning experience.
Masterclasses carry a very strict program outline. Applying the cornerstones of
this concise method, intake, preparation and performance are conducted.
The Master is an authority, someone with a proven subject matter track record
for the Masterclass.
After the Masterclass the apotheoses takes place in a General Rehearsal. In this
stage the participants are presenting their final plan and approach. This
deliverable was developed and discussed during the Masterclass sessions.
The Masterclass is guided by an experienced manager, who is responsible for
intake and the Masterclass process, as well as the reporting about the
Masterclass.
In a Masterclass of NBDA the participant actually stays in his own
professional environment and mindset. Intervision and cooperation, directed by
the master and Masterclass Manager is leading to greater insights and
development. Theory is playing a minor role in this set-up. The participants are
playing a major role in transferring knowledge and experience to their fellow
participants.
NBDA believes that every talented and experienced manager,
executing a certain role, already is a Master to be.
Possibly in a number, otherwise in all aspects of his or her field of responsibility.
Being a master means, within the context of this Masterclass Method, that the
participant is willing and ready to share experiences and insights with others in
an open manner and is also willing to receive feedback from other participants.
The Masterclass always has three major components:
Content, Cooperation, and
Commitment.
The process of a Masterclass:
After specification and theme establishment a Masterclass has the following
steps:
· Intake
· Preparation
· Execution
· General Rehearsal
· Practice/implementation and evaluation
